Yeye Cabaret 2020 Postponement

“In line with the directive of the Lagos State Government to ensure the safety of its citizens with respect to the current (global) pandemic, (where gatherings above fifty people are prohibited), we as a brand understand the importance of this directive and have therefore chosen to postpone the March celebration of our annual Mother’s Day showcase this year – Yeye Cabaret 2020.

This is part of our commitment to playing our part in helping to contain this outbreak, suppress and eradicate this disease early enough, so normal life can resume in earnest.

This postponement which is the first time in seven consecutive editions is necessary, however, we have chosen to prioritise public health and safety above our interest.

The postponement only gives us the opportunity to even do more – bigger and better things to commemorate Mother’s Day this year.

In the due course of time, we will announce a new date for Yeye Cabaret 2020 as soon as we get the go-ahead — because our mothers deserve to be celebrated as queens always.

At this point, we would like to thank all our sponsors and partners for their faith in our vision and contribution to this noble project, as it means a lot to us that they have chosen to stand by us as we collectively fight a common enemy Covid -19.

We would also like to use this medium to appeal to the general public not to panic, but to play their part as responsible citizens especially in the area of information management – not to spread/share unfounded rumours or false information, avoid fear-mongering and most importantly observe good hygiene at all times.

We thank you all for your kind support and encourage you to stand in faith and not fear that we shall overcome this outbreak and this too shall pass.

Stay safe and stay informed.
