The Luxury Network Nigeria proudly announces its partnership role in the success of the recently
concluded Global Tech Africa (GTA) Conference. The three-day event brought together tech
enthusiasts, industry leaders, innovators, and government stakeholders to shape the discourse on
technology in Africa.
As a key contributor to the transformative event, The Luxury Network Nigeria is excited to have
collaborated with the innovative partners of the Ascend Studios Foundation, Future Map Foundation,
NITDA, and the US Consul amongst other key partners to guide discussions and shape the narrative
surrounding Africa’s burgeoning tech space.
The conference served as a vital platform for bringing together both the public and private key
stakeholders to address challenges and foster innovation.
The GTA Conference featured enlightening panel sessions with thought leaders providing insights
into advancing technology in Africa. Key speakers included Mallam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, the
Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr. Inya
Lawal, Implementation partner for the GTA Conference, and Julia Klockner, a member of the
German Parliament. Other notable stakeholders present include Mr Steven Wills, the U.S. Consulate
General; Steffi Czerny, Co-founder of the DLD conference, German Agency for International
Cooperation (GIZ), amongst others.
The topics discussed covered a diverse range, including leveraging technology in healthcare,
promoting women’s empowerment, and exploring the intersection of music and art in the African
context. These discussions not only informed but also inspired positive change within the industry.
Dr Samuel Abiola-Jacobs, Managing Director at The Luxury Network Nigeria shared that
