The 1st annual ELOY conference is a part of the initiative of the ELOY Awards Foundation. The ELOY Conference is being used as a platform to educate and empower thousands of women. The ELOY Awards Foundation is about empowering and challenging thousands of women to be more and do more by providing access to resources, business skills and tools for them to be able to grow, transform and sustain their businesses, which will, in turn, benefit their families and the community at large.
50 women will also be chosen to be part of the ELOY Awards Foundation Sustainable Empowerment Program (SEP). This gives them access to Six months mentorship, trainings and affordable finance. The ELOY Awards Foundation is about empowering and challenging thousands of women to be more and do more by providing access to resources, business skills and tools for them to be able to grow, transform and sustain their businesses, which will, in turn, benefit their families and the community at large.
This year’s edition is themed; “Empower her to sustain her”.
The ELOY Conference will take place on Wednesday, 13 November 2019 at The Muson Center, Lagos.

MRS. FATIMA OLAJUMOKE
Mrs Fatima Olajumoke attended the prestigious Secondary School Queen’s College Yaba Lagos.
She holds a B.SC degree in Accounting from the University of Jos, Plateau state in 1998, and an MBA in Finance from Ladoke Akintola university of Technology in 2010.
She is a CBN Certified Microfinance Banker and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
She is also a Fellow Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and Association of Economists and Statisticians of Nigeria.
Mrs Fatima Olajumoke has over 17 years working experience beginning with her National Youth Service at Akintola Williams Adetona /Isichie and co. and thereafter worked with Basic Komputers before joining the Bank in 2002.
She was the former Branch Manager at NPF Microfinance Bank Ikeja branch and is presently the Head, Marketing Department of the bank.
She has attended various Managerial and Marketing Courses amongst which are trainings organised by CBN/AFOS/MicroSave on Savings Mobilisation and Digital Financial Services, and Lagos Business School on Executive Sustainability and Social Impact Assessment training.
She has been in the fore Front Promoting and Coordinating the Financial Inclusion policy of CBN and the Government in the bank.
Lucky Idike Jr.
Lucky Idike is an economist and chartered accountant with extensive consulting experience.
An alumnus of two of Nigeria’s most prestigious educational institutions (King’s College Lagos & University of Lagos) and a Fellow of ICAN, Nigeria’s foremost Professional Association, he has led and worked in various teams on a wide range of engagements in the public and private sector organisations (both for-profit and not-for-profit) developing strong competencies.
He is a value-adding team leader and player, with a high level of integrity. Lucky has travelled extensively within Nigeria and internationally, and possesses a sound knowledge of the socio-economic, political and cultural environment in Nigeria and the sub-region. He is interested in diverse cultures and uses his trips to catalyze his passion for Nigeria’s development.
He is passionate about the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge as a tool for growth/empowerment and is, therefore, an avid reader of books and journals on leadership, finance, management, biographies, fiction and history.
A good public speaker, he brings to speaking and consulting assignments and ability to present a clear and well-articulated thought flow and also to illustrate, clearly and graphically, painting a vivid picture with words. Prepared for a leadership role in Nigeria’s public sector, Lucky brings strong passion, strong values and a determination to make a strong impact regardless of challenges.
IFEANYI CHRISTOPHER OPUTA (ENGR.) – MD/CEO
Ifeanyi Christopher Oputa is a serial entrepreneur and the founding CEO of COLVI LTD, owners of Studio24. He has been in business for over 3 decades and has a vast knowledge of the digital imaging industry, fashion industry, and real estate.
Engr Oputa led the company through its expansion from a little corner-shop in Kaduna, GRA to a multi-faceted business organization employing over 350 talented full-time team members.
Ifeanyi Oputa has won Dozens of awards for his work over the years and is a happy father to Maria Ndaliaku Oputa.
MARY AKPOBOME
Mary Akpobome is the Chief Operating Officer of HBCL Investment Services Plc, a private Investments company. Prior to her appointment to HBCL Investment Services Plc, Mary was the Executive Director, Business Banking overseeing all Corporate, Commercial, Special Projects, Intervention Schemes, Multilaterals, Agriculture and Export Businesses of Heritage Bank.
A Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administrators, Mary holds an MBA from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. She is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School, London Business School and INSEAD (France); Mary has attended courses at Stanford Graduate School, Harvard Business School, Kellogg Executive Education and well as IMD (Switzerland).
In 2015, following the acquisition of Enterprise Bank Limited by Heritage Bank Plc, Mary was appointed the Acting Managing Director of Enterprise Bank Limited. Her solid experience in the management of people and resources was instrumental in stabilizing the operations of the bank, improving its service orientation and preparing it for a seamless integration with Heritage Bank Plc.
A consummate Banker with over 30 years cognate experience and vast proficiency and skills in Credit Management, Commercial and Retail strategies, Mary began her banking career with Citizens International Bank serving in different departments before joining Platinum Bank Ltd in 2001 and rose to the position of Executive Director Designate in 2008 overseeing the Service Bank of Bank PHB.
Mary is a team leader with extensive experience in the private and public sectors.
TEJU ABISOYE
Teju Abisoye is a lawyer and the Acting Executive Secretary at the LSETF.
Prior to assuming the role, she was the Programme & Coordination Director at the LSETF. She has worked across various roles in project planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian projects.
She also has extensive experience with Government driven entrepreneurship programmes, especially YouWIN!, an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Lehlé Baldé MSc
Born in Canada to Senegalese parents, Ms Lehlé Baldé is a pan African strategy and communications professional and a passionate financial inclusion advocate and radio host.
She has lived in over 11 countries: Canada, Madagascar, U.K, Kenya, Italy, Swaziland, Rwanda, Cameroun, Senegal, Mozambique, Nigeria and has visited many more. She speaks French and English fluently in addition to conversational Spanish.
Ms. Baldé holds a BA in communication from the University of Waterloo in Canada and a master’s degree in international marketing Strategy from the University of Northampton in the United Kingdom. She currently works in strategy and partnerships at West Africa’s most authoritative daily and content producer Business Day.
Ms. Balde is a senior associate Strategy Innovation and Partnerships at Business Day Media, West Africa’s leading provider of business intelligence and information on diversified media platforms including online, mobile and print. Ms. Baldé is the anchor of Financial Inclusion Today a radio show program on Rhythm 93.7 powered by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Ms. Baldé is also the columnist behind Business Day Culinary Delights. She is the editor of the Business Day CEO magazine a digital magazine that tells the stories of African millennial entrepreneurs. She is the co-producer of The Bridge Talk Show season 2 and 3.
Ms. Baldé has worked with both the public and the private sectors in the UK, Nigeria, Mozambique, Cameroun, and Canada. She regularly moderates conferences and panels on issues she is passionate about. Ms.Baldé is particularly passionate about financial inclusion, culinary experiences, travel, writing, socio-economic development, human rights and the continent of Africa.
