ALTERNATIVE PATHWAYS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS.

The Business of Photography in collaboration with The British Council presents, ‘Alternative Pathways for Photographers’. This seminar is in line with British Council’s ‘Creative Hustle” Initiative, the Creative Hustle is a seminar-style series of events that offers young people aged 18 – 35 the opportunity to gain awareness of the breadth of artistic and non-artistic livelihood opportunities available across creative sector value chains.

The creative hustle series basically encourages creative’s to improve their art by learning from experts in their various fields and this is no exception, as  some of the brightest and most talented photographers in Nigeria will be speaking; Yagazie Eguare (Gazmadu Studios), Abisola Ijalana (M12 Photography), Kola Oshalusi (Insignia Media) and Daniel Obasi.

The Business of Photography is an initiative that seeks to promote and improve photography in all spheres in Africa, the brain behind The Business of Photography; Kola Oshalusi is excited to be partnering with The British Council in its Creative Hustle series.  In a statement he said, ‘The business of Photography collaboration with the British Council was borne out of the need to improve the structure of the photography industry, as the industry needs reinventing in many areas,  being a part of the Creative Hustle series will help us have conversations about photography and how we can do things better’.
