PoshClick Foundation, a registered non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people in underserved communities, is set to launch a practical and impact-driven empowerment program for secondary school students in Lagos. The five-day initiative, titled Youth Empowerment Through Life & Vocational Skills and themed “Skill Up, Stand Out,” will run from Monday, July 28 to Friday, August 1, 2025.
Designed specifically for senior secondary students who may not have the resources to pursue higher education after completing secondary school, the program provides alternative pathways to success by equipping participants with creative vocational skills and essential life tools. Through this initiative, over 120 students will gain hands-on exposure to income-generating skills including photography, videography, digital literacy, fashion styling, makeup artistry, and more.
The comprehensive program combines technical skills training with personal development, ensuring participants not only learn valuable skills but also develop the confidence and mindset necessary for long-term success. Students will engage in life-building sessions covering leadership, communication, etiquette, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy to strengthen their personal growth and professional readiness.

The program will take place across partnering secondary schools in Lagos for the opening and closing days, while the core skill acquisition workshops will be held at the Skooqs Technology and Creative Center in Ogba, Lagos State. Students will be grouped into vocational teams to execute real-world projects, including photoshoots, video content, and styling showcases. The initiative will culminate in a student showcase, awards presentation, and the launch of internship and mentorship placements for top-performing participants, creating ripple effects that extend far beyond the training days.
