EXHIBITIONSÂ –
Over sixty leather designers of footwear, handbags, and small leather goods will showcase their talent alongside other players such as raw materials, hardware, and accessories suppliers, refurbished, etc. Each one of our exhibitors has been carefully selected and includes old favorites such as Ethnik Afrika, Joel Lani, Marte Egele, St Davids, FemiHandbags, Obacouture, Hanker+Reech, and Detail Africa, and newcomers like Timaro James, Kieva Desuwa, Seki, Rebel by Gracie and Honey Malaolu.
CONVERSATIONS –
We are bringing you, yet again, some truly exciting and engaging conversations! This year, we will be exploring issues centered around business growth, the massive potential of Intra-African trade, payment systems, product positioning, and the real essence of social impact and what it means to do good while doing business. These discussions will be facilitated by both local and international thought leaders and industry experts who will bring their depth of experience to the table. Some of them include Temwa Gondwe of AfreximBank, Daniel Oparison of Paga, Tokunboh Ishmael of Alitheia Capital, Kanyinsade Ademuson of Seventh Space, Mai Atafo of ATAFO, Folakemi Fatogbe of the De-Risking Lab and Adesuwa Onyenokwe, one of Nigeria’s foremost journalists. THE ATELIERÂ
This is a creative and interactive workshop that will be facilitated by two leather experts – the Creative Directors of Belinda and Hanker+Reech. These sessions will demonstrate the rigorous process of leather-crafting beautiful from concept to the final product. This is not one to be missed!
G.O.L.D (Guild of Leather Designers)Â
We are extremely proud and excited to finally officially launch GOLD – Guild of Leather Designers (Nigeria), an advisory body solely dedicated to supporting the work of leather designers. Look out for more on this at the Fair!
