The countdown is officially on. Following our last announcement, the buzz for An African Christmas has been incredible. This week, we go deeper because Africa deserves to be celebrated with intention.

THE MENU REVEAL: AFRICA, COURSE BY COURSE
This is not a buffet. It is a continental tasting journey, thoughtfully curated to represent Africa’s regions with authenticity and pride. From North and East Africa, guests will begin with Shorba Adas, a warming Mauritanian lentil soup, paired with Ambasha bread from Ethiopia. West Africa takes centre stage with Kelewele, Ghana’s beloved spicy fried plantain, bold with ginger and chilli.
The main course moves across East, West, and Southern Africa:
Doro Wat with Injera (Ethiopia) is rich, slow-cooked, and deeply spiced
Nyama Choma with Ugali and Kachumbari (Kenya), flame-grilled tradition at its finest
Bobotie (South Africa) comfort, spice, and heritage baked into one dish
Smoky Jollof Rice (Nigeria/Ghana) is globally renowned, unapologetically African
Dessert brings a sweet North African close with Basbousa from Egypt, while beverage pairings include Atay Tea, Sobolo, Zobo, Kenyan Chai, and Dawa, each drink telling its own story. This is Africa served with respect.
