Ejiro Amos Tafiri

Ejiro Amos Tafiri, one of Africa’s premier luxury fashion houses, has officially announced a high-impact, three-part event series running across Lagos and Abuja this October and November. Grounded in 16 years of craftsmanship and innovation, the multi-city series blends thought leadership, fashion education, and high-fashion luxury runway presentations.

Convened by Ejiro Amos Tafiri, the biennial Fashioning a Legacy: Leaving a Mark in Time conference serves as a Pan-African platform dedicated to advancing the African fashion ecosystem. Scheduled for October 24, 2026, at the British Council in Lagos, the event is open to the public, emerging designers, creative industry stakeholders, fashion students, and media. The conference will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, and the announcement of the Emerging Designers Grant, where talented designers can access startup support, equipment, and mentorship to scale their businesses.

Staged on October 25, 2026, as an exclusive off-schedule show alongside Lagos Fashion Week at a private Lagos venue, the luxury brand will unveil its Spring/Summer 2027 collection (SS27). Known as “Nigeria’s Drape Queen,” Ejiro Amos Tafiri will showcase her signature mastery of drapery, fluid tailoring, and indigenous textile artistry before an invited audience of HNIs, celebrities, top-tier clients, fashion editors, and VVIPs.

Taking place on November 15, 2026, at a private venue in Abuja, the brand has expanded its presence in the Federal Capital Territory with an exclusive showcase. The strictly by-invitation event is designed to connect directly with the Northern elite, diplomatic community, cabinet members, and high-fashion patrons, celebrating African heritage through high-fashion storytelling.
