My name is Patience Ogbeyi, I started my internship at YD Agency a couple of weeks ago and it has been all shades of exciting. I have been assigned to manage some of our clients social media accounts which includes the How foundation, Cozy Concept lifestyle store, Qbites and our company’s events department, YD Events.

On a weekly basis I’ll be doing a spotlight on the accounts I’m handling and what exactly I do. Today I’ll be talking about The HOW Foundation;

The How Foundation is a non-profit organisation with the aim of empowering the youth on the importance of education through organised seminars and workshops.
The foundation was created by the MD/CEO of Access bank, Mr Herbert Wigwe. Other objectives of the foundation includes awareness for prostrate cancer and the awareness of the possibility on eradication of malaria.
Projects have been done and more projects are still coming on in the future regarding these objectives and you can visit the website to see what we are working on – .

In helping to maintain their image on social media , i have to post 2 to 3 times on a daily basis. The post and write ups have to be educating, informative to be able to attract or get the attention of the youth especially those who don’t know the importance of education, to be mentored by the foundation and also, reach a wider audience where by organisations/ individuals can support the goal of the foundation.
