ABOUT SHEVENTURES
SheVentures is FCMB’s value proposition designed to provide women-owned businesses with vital tools to thrive and scale. They achieve this by giving Women SMEs access to capital, knowledge, networks, and markets. Since the formal launch of the initiative in 2019, SheVentures has impacted over 10,000 female entrepreneurs across the nation.
The anniversary event is also a commemoration of International Women’s Day (IWD) and is always an occasion to celebrate the enormous contributions women consistently make towards nation-building. The theme for this year’s IWD is ‘Choose to Challenge’, a call to women across the globe to challenge myths and stereotypes associated with women either in business, careers, or society at large. As a leading woman in tech challenging the investment landscape, the goal is to inspire businesswomen across the nation to rise above challenges and proceed to build sustainable and scalable businesses.
