 The 12th edition of the ELOY Awards was held in a small and intimate gathering on the 29th of November 2020 at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, VI Lagos. The event which saw most of the nominees in attendance charged all with supporting one another and reminding all to boldy ask for the results they want to see.Tewa Onasanya, the founder of the ELOY Awards foundation said that the year 2020 is the year all women went boldly after what they want and are able to survive and thrive in the middle of a global pandemic. She said, “in 2020, women rose to the occasion to do the work needed for personal and business development. 2020 is the great year where whether goals are met or not, we survived.” Dr Adeduntan, the CEO of First Bank of Nigeria, was recognized as a man who advocates for and supports women empowerment. He was awarded the ELOY HE4SHE award. Dr Maymunah Kadiri was recognized for her role in mental Health and Elizabeth Oladepo, founder of 07Foods was awarded the ELOY Recognition Award for Enterprise.
